As the election draw closer, the conversations become more and more heated as each party strive to sell their candidates as the best option for Nigerians and to solicit for the votes of Nigerians. Most of the time, in doing this, they usually try to demean the credibility and capacity of their opponents in order to consolidate their support from Nigerians. He claimed, his candidate, Tinubu has more decision making experience and competence in handling the affairs of an office as high as that of the president of Nigeria. He added that Atiku lacks the necessary leadership experience as he has never been a full leader such as president or governor only as a vice president in which case he knows nothing about decision making which is the core of what it takes to be the president. In his argument, he claimed Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, although not as competent as Tinubu is far better than Atiku Abubakar. In response to this, Reno Omokri, a PDP spokespersons countered Festus saying that he speaks out of ignorance as Atiku was the chief decision maker when then president traveled out of the country in 2003 hence claiming he has enough leadership and decision making experience and competency.
